I have a startup idea (several, in fact, but am focusing on one). I've done marketing research to prove the demand, and have modeled a business case to prove that it would provide benefit to the businesses that it serves.
Business, but I understand the importance, value, and challenge of tech. I've built websites professionally, taken programming courses, and fiddle with technology since I was 4, but have chosen the business route through university and after.
Business: I have my BBA in Marketing, Entrepeneurship, and Management & Technology. I've worked as a consultant for startup businesses doing desk research, an analytical specialist mining databases to help managers, directors, and VPs make decisions (including financial analysis and modeling), and as a consultant in the world's largest brand consultancy. I have a passion for innovation and making solid decisions. I've been passionate about startups for several years. I've now moved on to my most feasible concept yet, and am looking for a tech co-founder to work closely with. I'm not afraid of technology and getting my hands dirty, but I do my best work in business. Tech: I started working with technology when I was 4, and have built and taken apart computers, dabbled in programming (Visual Basic, C, PHP, HTML, Java, Python), designed applications and simple databases, and built websites for consulting clients.
I'm passionate about leveraging data for competitive advantage (metrics, statistical analysis, predictive analytics), executing a well-founded brand strategy, and exploiting unique market opportunities.
