Business Ideas Roundtable!

Join us to listen to some interesting ideas, or bring one sustainable business idea with you, to present as a suggestion to the others at meeting.  Something you've seen, something you've invested in or maybe something you've started yourself!  1-3 minutes to talk about what you like about your idea, why you think it's a winner, and maybe what you are thinking about doing with it. Each attendee can bring up to 3 ideas to present in this approximately 90 minute gathering at the beautiful Salon Tea at 3010 Granville Street (thanks Sarah!!).

Should be a fun evening of socializing, networking and brainstorming.  I expect to see EVERYONE who's ever contacted me about their great idea and everyone who has asked me if I know of any novel ideas to get involved in!!  This should be fun.  And quit staring at the lightbulb like that!

SPECIAL CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT!!   We have a guest presenter who will give a brief presentation on the pro's and con's of the electric car company Tesla (TSLA), who have made a great big splash in the public markets this year.  Everyone in attendance at this event should check the company's website before the meeting, then listen to presenter Tim Wallace, and then you get to pick a price you think the company's stock will be at in one year.  We'll come up with some good prize for the winner, as well as a prize for runners up and whoever is closest in 6 months. Put on your thinking caps!!!  Your ELECTRIC thinking caps!!

Hello, we just launched a social enterprise, Baby Bachka - locally manufactured, 100% natural baby bunting bags (have a patent -pending status on the design). We organize community tree planting with portion of the sales - you can see more info on our website: babybachka.com
We are seeking investors who can help us market the concept. Our biggest challenge is competing with the baby apparel companies (majority) that manufacture their products in China, Pakistan or Bangladesh. We are interested in creating a mutually supportive community of parents, friends, relatives and baby apparel producers to create sustainable model for the new generation. Feedback is greatly appreciated!

Enjoyed the meeting, first time out for a meeting as it's about 1 1/2 hours drive from Langley, we will be back for more. Jerry did a great job keeping the flow going and with a comment on each presenter after their presentation, good job.
Only got 4 stars because my computer will not let me put in 5.

Thanks Sarah for hosting, what a great spot! I wasn't feeling 100% yesterday & headed out a little early, but wanted to talk to the gentleman with the no-paper software. Can anyone help me find him? Thanks!!

Hi all, I have a seniors housing project to present based on a green living model of care. Integrating organic foods, return-to-the farm concept & a nurturing, non-toxic environment. It includes the construction of a 75,000 sq ft building in 1 or 2 phased construction & operations of the business. The site is currently owned & project is shovel in ground ready for construction. We are seeking investors who see 'what's next' in seniors care the same way we do, how organic lifestyle does impact reliance on heavier forms of health care & by integrating our model we can positively impact the health & well-being of residents, while increasing their longevity of stay (overall increasing our revenue with less turnover). Moving seniors care from a medicinal "bed-pan" model to an integrated, holistic, well-being model.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
