About Ani Lopez
SEO consultant Vancouver based, moved from Barcelona some months ago where he developed his more than ten years long career as LAMP developer, web project manager and, during the latest three and a half years, as SEO.
Working for well known agencies in Europe gave him the opportunity to lead SEO campaigns and workshops for brands like Nokia, Carrefour, Amadeus Global Travel Distribution Systems, Barcelona Football Club, Hospes Luxury Hotels, Clickseguros Insurances, Lucas Fox Luxury Real State, Infojobs.net, Solostocks.com or Transfer Latin Business Consultancy just to mention some.
Most of these projects required target several countries in very different languages and cultures at the same time so it is a subject he knows well.
Agenda
Contribution / Fund Raiser
This Meetup will be a fund raiser for Haiti. The situation there needs no introduction. Pitch in $5 and every $3 out of $5 will be donated to Haiti relief efforts. The other $2, as usual, will cover Meetup dues and other expenses.
It was one of the best presentation I ever attended at this meetup so far. I work on several international markets (N. America, Europe, Australia, Asia) and Ani presented very valuable info on right approaches to achieve success. Well done, Ani!
Ani did a tremendous job at giving us an insight in the intricacies if multi language multi country web site architecture and search engine optimization. There must be a few local companies that are truly international to leverage this expertise. Lets help them get more international business.
