Dear Vancouver SEM members,
We don't usually promote anything by email to our members but this is a initiative, brought to us by member Cate Lin, in favor of Take a Hike Youth at Risk Foundation, an alternative education program that engages at-risk youth through a unique combination of adventure-based learning, academics, counseling, and community involvement.

Hurry up if you are interested, the initiative ends this month of November.

Are you a start-up or early stage entrepreneur? Perhaps a maverick business owner with a Big Idea? Know anyone who is? Here?s a great opportunity to participate in an amazing community project: BRAINSTORM Vancouver.

BRAINSTORM Vancouver?s organizers, Paul A. Joo & Miin Lim, are hosting 30 unique brainstorming sessions for 30 Game Changers, Upstarts & Challengers within 30 days ? all to benefit the Take a Hike Youth at Risk Foundation in support of initiative-driven learning. Here?s a quick snapshot:

From Oct 20 to Nov 30, thirty business owners are being invited to bring in a key business model challenge, in response to which a new or enhanced business model will be created for them during their session! All participating companies are then invited to donate any amount they feel comfortable with to the Take a Hike Youth at Risk Foundation.

You can see all the BRAINSTORM Vancouver details at http://brainstormvan.wordpress.com/abtbrainstormvan/

Your help to spread the word would be very much appreciated to ensure 30 companies benefit from this innovative challenge! So if you know of any Game Changers, Upstarts or Challengers, please direct them to contact Miin at [address removed] or (604)[masked] to book their own unique brainstorming session.

Thank you so much for supporting the incomparable gifts of confidence, initiative and learning.
