Hi all
After the response to the talk we hosted a few months ago on Digital Storytelling, we decided to put together an unconference (think BarCamp-style) to give more people a chance to share, explore and learn about the topic. As much of the interest in the original talk came from the local UX community, it makes sense to let you all know about it.

The focus of the gathering is fairly broad: what about storytelling changes and what stays the same in the midst of rapidly changing digital tools? What possibilities do these mediums open up, and what do we lose by embracing them too fully. As an unconference, anyone who shows up can pitch a talk and we should have enough space and time for everyone who wants to present to do so.

The event is one day, July 7, and is hosted by our title sponsor The Network Hub at the River Market in New Westminster. The River Market is located just across the street from the New West Skytrain station, making it easily accessible. The market itself has recently been renovated and the area really feels up and coming.

Tickets are $25 and include a $10 lunch voucher for one of four vendors in the market. All the details are found on our event page or you can jump right to the Eventbrite page to register today
