Passover Seder - Potluck in Westlake

  • Mar 26, 2013 · 6:00 PM

We will be having a 2nd night Passover Seder at a private residence in Westlake - overlooking the lake - a majestic setting - a special opportunity for us VeJEWtarians -

Anyone interested in joining us for this full Passover seder - including all fourteen steps of a traditional seder - using "The Haggadah for a New World" with an hour and a half or so of seder readings before the festive meal and continuing with further readings, singing, etc. after the meal - please RSVP accordingly -

Please be sure to message Andy with your direct email to coordinate ourselves for the seder.  You will then be contacted to find out what dish(es) you will be bringing for our festive meal - we want to make sure that what we each bring fits together well with what everyone else brings - please private message Andy Mars with your email and to discuss your ideas and our needs to mesh them together well - some of the items to be featured thus far are Vegan Gefilte, Matzah Ball Soup, Stuffed Mushrooms, Herb Roasted Root Veggies, Savory Passover Ring, Macaroons, etc.

Also, please be sure that you only RSVP affirmatively if you are definitely going to attend and arrive punctually -

If you RSVP with less than a week to go, there may not be seats remaining - especially if RSVPing leading into the final days, do be sure to send a private message to Andy right away -

Thank you -

WITH LESS THAN A WEEK TO GO - AFFIRMATIVE RSVPers WERE JUST MESSAGED WITH FURTHER DETAILS :)

The event was special. The people in the group are warm and sincere. The Haggadah was truly the most sensitive and relevant I have experienced...thank you Andy.

Nathan kind-of can recite it in Hebrew, with some help. Noah knows it pretty well. Let's have them do it together. Looking forward to it. Noah was very excited to hear that EVERYTHING is vegan (esp desserts). We are bringing parve chocolate covered matzah too.

Ah. Thank you, Jack. I was wondering who you were leaving home ;) Very much looking forward to having all five of you with us. Might Noah be able to sing "The 4 Questions" in Hebrew and/or English? Or might Nathan be able to do English and Noah do Hebrew? Is FB inbox messaging, direct e-mailing, or texting best for you, Jack, for talking more details?
