We welcome you to the world of Vedanta. Vedanta means ‘end of knowledge’. It is an ancient philosophy, which presents the eternal principles of life and living. In today’s world, the knowledge of Vedanta ensures dynamic action combined with a stress free mind to manage the challenges of a fast paced lifestyle. Rather than merely provide intelligence, Vedanta equips one with an intellect to meet the challenges of the world. Intelligence helps to make a living. Intellect helps to make your life.

In the UK, weekly classes are held in London and Manchester. The classes serve to introduce the knowledge of Vedanta from texts such as Select English Poems, The Fall of the Human Intellect, Vedanta Treatise, Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads. The classes are conducted by graduates of the Vedanta Academy and led by Bhaskar Ramachandran who heads the Institute and its activities.

Swami Parthasarathy is the founder of the Vedanta Academy in India and has inspired Vedanta Institutes around the world. If you are new to Vedanta, take a quick look some of the talks given by Swami Parthasarathy on topics such as 'Born in Captivity' and 'Virus of Attachment': https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQd_0QkJSV8fwJYZrGvGEQ

Vedanta Institute London hosts seminars, public lectures, talks and classes throughout the year. For the latest information please visit: www.vedanta.org.uk Contact:  info@vedanta.org.uk
