Looks like it's time for a little FüD!!! Vegan, Organic, and Local! You've probably never tried anything quite like this before!
Also a little reminder, they are currently cash only, so no credit cards. Remember to stop by the ATM... the food is well worth it! =)
Prices are variable, they have some tasty filling items like the chalupa or spicy tofu-wich for around 6-8 dollars before tax and tip. You can easily add on fresh made juice, a side salad, soup, and dessert and spend quite a bit more too.
Heidi and her friendly staff will be serving up some delicious food for us. We will be going after their normal hours, and they have a limited amount of space (about 26 seats). If it's nice, there are a couple of benches outside to kick back on as well.
She does some pretty amazing stuff with food, from the raw Rainbow wrap and Rainbow tacos, to wild rice "meat" or green jackfruit / jackphish chalupas, pulled jack fruit BBQ, tofuwiches, or nachos with cashew cheddar cheeze... They've also recently added a jackfruit Chick'un The sweet stack is a brownie with raw cashew ice cream and assorted toppings ($9 but big enough to share). They also have bread pudding, shakes, and an assortment of fresh juices. Check out their website for dish photos and more menu info. www.eatfud.com
They are also able to accommodate things like gluten allergies (I do not believe they currently have a gluten free bread supplier, but they can do a few things.)... One of the only all vegan restaurants in town, with lots of great, fresh, made from scratch food. This should be a nice relaxed hang out event.
They are located in the Westside area on 17th street just off the corner of Summit, south west of downtown (Near the Blue Bird Bistro and The Westside Local.)
Please - respect the RSVPs, if you choose to come RSVP and show up! We understand that life happens, and if you can't make it - please don't RSVP or update your RSVP to no! This is helpful for other members, and enables us to work with venues, keeping our group well received.
