I try to go vegan as often as possible. There are limited choices while on the road, so I opt for vegetarian. I
I've tried on and off several times in my life. I've been successful for over a month due to better information, knowing my body's nutritional needs, and supplementation. My husband and kids are not vegetarians or vegans. I find myself doing creative substitutions and cooking beans or meat (for them) separately from sauces.
Supplementation for health. I have a child with nut allergies. I'd like to see more nut free recipes out there. I'd like to hear from others what supplements or protein shakes worked well for them. I like recipes that call for ingredients that most people would have on hand (please, no smoked seaweed covered in a spices imported from the Himalayas and endorsed by crap singer.)
