Are you the vegan orphan in your family? Or are you just not into Thankskilling day? Then this year come and join Andrea and Holli to celebrate a Vegan Thanksliving Day! We will have a mondo feast, a vegan pumpkin pie contest, games, movies and lots of lounging around! So come and stuff yourselves into a food coma!
Potluck: Please bring one large Vegan dish to feed 4-6 people. If you have your own favorite utensils and dishware, bring them along, otherwise we will provide eco-friendly paper plates/cups.
Vegan Pumpkin Pie Contest: If you would like to participate please bring a vegan pumpkin pie (in addition to your potluck dish, or just a second pie) and specify when you RSVP that you are competing. If our panel of judges like yours the best you will win the prize! There will also be a second place prize!
RSVP: Please add in the comment box when you RSVP what type of dish you are going to bring so there is enough variety and people know what to bring. Please feel free to e-mail Andrea or Holli if you have any questions.
Featured Movie: "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" We will be showing this movie as an option and if you want to play games we will have plenty of space to do both!
Doors are open for your arrival at 5pm and the feasting will begin at 6pm.
So come out and stuff yourself and have some fun too!
Since there is going to be about 50 people coming and I DON"T have a dishwasher please remember to clean up after yourself and help out a little with the cleanup so I am not up all night cleaning house. I would be Grateful! THanks :)
This is a VEGAN potluck so please don't bring anything with any animal products such as dairy, eggs, milk, cheese, etc.
Thanks!
I'll bring vegan sushi rolls and a bottle of sparkling blueberry juice.
So a lot of people left things at this meetup, dishes, a phone. Whomever left these things please contact me to pick them up. I will leave them on the front porch as well (except the phone) so you can come get them when you want.
Log in to Meetup with your Facebook account.
Looks like we will need some drinks if you haven't thought of anything yet...cider, juice, wine, etc.
