July Restaurant Dinner Visit at Tom's Tabooley

Join us on the evening of Thursday, July 25th for dinner at Tom's Tabooley on the Drag. Tom's has been a long-time supporter of the VNA and many of the big veg events in Austin, and we love their food and try to bring our group there once a year or so. Some of you who haven't been in a long time may not know they expanded (again) into the space next door, and now have a big room called The Snug where they have live music. Folksy singer-songwriter Ben Livingston is scheduled to be playing there that night.

You do not have to be a VNA member; all our events are free for anyone to attend. Children and families are welcome as well. We'll have plenty of people there from our other online groups like Yahoo and Facebook, so come join us, see some old friends and make new ones!

We had a great time, thanks to everyone who came! There were ten of us there tonight, three people were brand new to the group. We enjoyed getting to share and learn about upcoming events for the rest of the year and new things going on in Austin.

I'm going to try!! It's a long drive at that hour, but I've never been to Tom's and would love to go.
