January Restaurant Lunch Visit at Casa de Luz

Start 2013 off right with some really great, healthy food at Casa de Luz. The VNA is having its January restaurant visit at Austin's much-loved longtime vegan (and macrobiotic, and organic) restaurant.

For those who haven't been before, Casa de Luz is 100% vegan and organic with the occasional non-organic ingredient marked on the menu. Their grains are soaked overnight, they avoid foods containing gluten, no sugar or artificial ingredients are added, they use genuine whole foods, campus-grown herbs (when they can), sprouts are grown in-house, meals are prepared according to the seasons, and their water is triple-filtered to remove flouride.

You don't have to be a VNA member to attend, and we'll have plenty of people there from all our online groups (like Facebook and Yahoo! Groups). So you don't have to think you'll be the only one there.

Try to car pool if you can, ride your bike, take the bus, or park somewhere (legal) not far away and walk in.

Please come eat lunch with us, and show your support for the valuable Austin institution Casa de Luz is.

Can't change my RSVP, but I'm not making it. Sorry! I typically get back from bike rides around this time, not enough time for me to change and get anywhere :-(
