Bowling at Bowl-A-Vard Lanes

[Note: Change of plans... Bowl-A-Vard instead of Dream Lanes.]

You are invited to a fun-filled afternoon of spares, strikes, and probably a few gutter balls. We'll rent lanes for two hours, which should be enough time for at least two games (with around six bowlers per lane).

Even though the atmosphere will be casual, don't be surprised if I award some prizes for the slowest and fastest strikes -- the display shows the speed of the ball.

The $9.00 fee includes two hours of bowling, bowling shoes, and tax. This is a little less than the regular cost of $10.00 for two games and shoe rental.

Payment Information:
Pre-payment is required. If you would prefer to send a check instead of using PayPal (payment link above), contact me and I will give you my mailing address.

The $9 fee includes a little extra to cover PayPal's fees (56 cents) as well as Meetup.com's $144 annual cost.

Payment Deadline:
Please pay on or before Friday, February 14th. At the event, I will have a list of people who RSVPed and a list of people who paid. You must be on both lists to attend. If you have any questions or concerns about this feel free to let me know.

Refund Policy:
If you cancel before the payment deadline you will get a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations after the deadline or if you do not show up to the event. If something comes up at the last minute you are welcome to find someone else to attend instead of you. The reason refunds are not given after the deadline is that I agree to pay for the lanes needed based on the number of people who have paid me at that point.

Can I RSVP now, but wait to pay?
Yes. As long as I receive your payment by the deadline there shouldn't be a problem. And it will actually help others gauge the interest in this event if you sign up right away. (RSVPs can be changed until the payment deadline, if necessary.)

What about kids?
Kids are welcome to come along. If they are old enough to play they can bowl. If not, they can observe and give constructive criticism. There is no difference in price for kids who bowl.
