Raw Vegan/Vegan Potluck, Gardening Demo, Guerrilla Gardening Planning

  • Chris Taylor's

If you aren't able to garden but would have plants and/or seeds to donate Guerrilla Gardening of Reno would appreciate.

Chris Taylor is hosting a raw vegan/vegan potluck. He will have a gardening demo in his backyard. We will also use this time to discuss possible ways to guerrilla garden in the Reno area! You do not need to be vegan or vegetarian to attend we ask that you bring a vegan dish or vegan drink. (no meat, dairy, eggs, fish, honey, cheese, marshmallows, etc) Raw Vegan/Vegan Potluck: We ask you to bring a non-animal based (vegan) ready-to-serve dish for as many people as have RSVP'd to this meetup. The idea is not to feed the masses, but to enable everyone to have a small tasting of your delicious creation. Please bring a vegan (no meat, dairy, eggs, fish, etc) If you are attending with a guest, please consider bringing two dishes; a dish and a beverage; or simply make more of the one dish you are preparing.

Please bring a typed or neatly printed recipe to display next to your dish, ideally with copies for people to take with them if they choose so.

The below list of raw vegan dish ideas may help you to decide what to bring to our potluck events:

1. You could bring an organic fresh salad

2. There are plenty of raw recipes available online:

3. Most raw food books have raw recipes

4. Organic raw fruit, fruit salad, or raw nuts

Address will be emailed to those who RSVP "Yes" closer to the date.

Darn, I'd love to go, but I won't be getting back in until late that night from SF. Hopefully there will be more!

I have a garden full of greens so we will definitely not need any green salads at the potluck. I will also have some sauer kraut, kimchi, and German chocolate cake Raw Foods Style....
