Are you a vegan or vegetarian in Reno and greater Northern Nevada looking to meet other like-minded people? Are you new to this whole plant-based eating thing and want to find support in Reno and greater Northern Nevada? You've come to the right place!
VegNV is a local group focused on improving human health, animal welfare and rights, and our environmental impact through a plant-based diet and lifestyle.
Many of us are vegans, vegetarians, or veg-curious. All are welcome to attend our events and we are open to wherever you are at in your journey. We love to connect with the people in our community to talk about the lifestyle and show just how easy and rewarding it can be!
There are many reasons to adopt a plant-based lifestyle. Feel free to browse this site for more info or attend one of our many events including dining nights out, potlucks, volunteer events, cooking demonstrations, movie screenings, outdoor activities, Vino Vegan nights, and more! Most of our events are in Reno, NV, but we are open to more!
We are currently working with many local restaurants to add veg items to their menus and have a list of veg-friendly restaurants in the Northern Nevada area. Please feel free to let us know if you know of others to add as we're always trying to have the most current information out there. Enjoy browsing our site and we hope to see you soon!
Join now to practice your Leadership and Creativity skills by Sponsoring or Co-Sponsoring future meetups (just email me), start a Discussion on our message board, Barter (under Sponsors tab) with other members for discounts, have fun, make friends and stay healthy, and fit.

Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, on diet, curious or just interested in changing your approach to what you put in your body, come on in! Ask away! Some of us have been vegan for decades, some have started and stopped and started, some are just starting to do themselves the wondrous favor of super healthy-eating. WELCOME!
