VSDC Book Club discusses "Animal Wise"

Please join the Vegetarian Society of DC Book Club discussion of Animal Wise by Virginia Morell.

To participate just read at least half the book -- and RSVP at least two days before the meeting.

“Each chapter takes readers on an adventure alongside researchers as they probe the minds of such disparate creatures as ants, trout, dolphins, elephants and chimpanzees.” —Scientific American

We will meet at the new Native Foods restaurant (near Farragut North metro, not the one in Penn Quarter). Native Foods is an amazing vegan fast casual restaurant that is expanding to the DC area!

Everyone orders on their own and pays directly to the restaurant.

Questions? Contact Beth through meet up. For more information about the book club (including everything we have read over 22 years!) visit http://www.vsdc.org/book.html

Enjoyed meeting new people. Just way too noisy. Hopefully the other Native Foods location will be quiet. Maybe, if someone has a roomy house - we can do a Sooper Girl take-out instead....

I just borrowed a copy from the Montgomery County Public Library. There are several more copies available at various branches.
