The Vegetarian Society of DC (VSDC) is looking forward to enjoying delicious vegan food with old and new friends alike.

Restaurant: Asian Spice in Chinatown. There will be a special all-vegan menu for our group and you can order what you like from appetizers and/or entrees.

RSVPSince reservations are based on the number of RSVPs, please do not RSVP “YES” unless you are sure you will attend.  Please be considerate of the restaurant, VSDC, and the others who want to attend by changing your RSVP if you are no longer able to come. The restaurant sets aside seating based on the RSVPs, and it hurts the restaurant and VSDC when people do not show up.

Please note: VSDC cannot guarantee seating if you arrive more than 10 minutes late.

Waiting List: If the RSVPs are full, please sign up for the waiting list if you are interested in attending. Those on the waiting list will be automatically moved up when someone changes their RSVP.

Payment: Everyone will order on their own and pay directly to the restaurant.

Travel / Metro station: Very close to the Gallery Place Metro station on the Green, Yellow, and Red lines.  Street parking is available but be sure to read all signs and make payment.

Accessibility: We want to ensure that everyone can enjoy our events. Please email [masked] if you need accommodations.

*Please help VSDC continue to host these monthly restaurant visits and other events by becoming a member of VSDC or renewing your membership. VSDC is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that is sustained by membership dues. If you are not a VSDC member, you can sign up at the event. You can complete a membership application at the event, or fill it out beforehand by printing a hardcopy from our website (www.vsdc.org) and bringing it with you with cash or a check.

VSDC is a clear and consistent voice for improving the lives of all beings through education on the benefits of vegan and vegetarian diets. Sharing food is the bond that brings families together; so is it with our large and growing family. From simply “breaking bread” to experiencing delicious and nutritious vegan foods from around the world, we make your journey easier, enjoyable & meaningful.

once again, great people and conversations! i liked the food and appreciated a special all-vegan menu that makes clear the restaurant understands what 'vegan' means and shows them the demand for it. THANKS to Cleveland for organizing a wonderful event!
