Vegan Celebration of Kwanzaa

The Vegetarian Society of DC's African American Networking Group (AANG) will conduct a potluck celebration of the seven Kwanzaa principles: Umoja (Unity), Kujichagulia (Self-Determination), Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility), Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics), Nia (Purpose), Kuumba (Creativity), and Imani (Faith).

Please bring a vegan dish or beverage to share. ("Vegan" means no meat, fish, poultry, dairy, eggs, honey, gelatin, or other animal products.) This is a private residence near the Columbia Heights and Georgia Avenue Metro stations in DC.

Allergy alert: a cat lives at the residence.

RSVP required for all guests by Thu, Dec 6, indicating (1) first and last names, (2) phone no., (3) e-mail address, & (4) no. of people in your party. (You will be prompted for this info and it will not be visible to others on meetup.)

Confirmation & directions will be e-mailed to the RSVPs 2 days before the event. Spots are limited, so please be sure you can make it or update your RSVP accordingly.
