Strictly vegan. Veggies 40% with a greater emphasis on asian like bitter melon, daikon, and nori, all mostly steamed, but I'm trying to back to stir fry and salads; 30% legumes of all kinds, but mainly kidney/garbanzo served as middle eastern or mexican; 20% fruits, mainly banannas, apples, kiwis with some papaya; 10%, rice or pea protein powders, both work very well for me.
40 years. This is why it's exciting to see such a large group. My mates from the '70s mostly long since gave it up. I believe in this diet and it's potential to be trans-formative.
All my life except for 5 years in L.A. and 1 year in Vancouver.
Hi, had numerous veggie diets, including macro, mucusless, lacto-ovo, and vegan. I was working with a new age rock group in L.A. --we all hit on veganism to "clean up" our bodies, minds and spirits. It helped me survive cancer 8 years ago.
