As always Gabrielle and her staff put on an awesome Brunch, she went back to "B'fast" this week, and although it was very good (who could not enjoy a "cheeseee" egg and sausage s'which done right, or B'Berry compote over French Toast) I have to admit liking the "Savory", later in the day options she has done. Last weeks Tacos w'all the fixings were the BEST yet and she says she has a # of other ideas on "Savory" rather than "sweet". Looking forward to everything this talented lady can create! Thanks Gab!

This is my first VLI meetup - and first time going to this Vegan Brunch - do I need to make a reservation? I am bringing a friend - for noon....

Tracie, As JI says, this is your average bar (but owners are both Vegan advocates so they invite Gabby to come and "do" brunch. As I said in my post a few down, she is very talented, but logistics are not good for multiple meals at once (though she does much beforehand and heats up as orders come in). I f you are interested in anything to drink but sodas or beer and Hard Cider (my fave) stop before you get there (I often bring a S'bucks w'me) or you can always P/U something at 7/11 just next door.

Service if first come, first served, but it works if you aren't planning to be in and out in 10 min.!

Gabby, I just saw this, so I'm editing the posted time & I'm going to send an email to the folks who've RSVPed "yes."

This is really great—I'm thrilled to see that VLI folks will be going to this! And just so there's no misunderstanding or disappointment, I want to repeat that these brunches are *not* what I call organized VLI meetups; in other words, I'm not going to be there myself, Gabby will likely be busy behind the food table, and I haven't arranged for anyone else from Vegan Long Island to function as a "greeter" or "host." So how much you socialize and meet other people is totally up to you. Also, non-VLI folks may be there, too (which is great—you can tell them about VLI!). So have a wonderful time, everyone! Enjoy the vegan chow & the chance to meet other vegan-chow-enthusiasts!!

Would love to "catch up w'some of you...Gaby not set up to feed more than a few at a time, but.....still would like to meet and greet others at this event. I've been going 'tween 1 and 1:30 as it allows me a chance to see Sun. AM News and Commentary shows, but I could go earlier if someone wants to suggest a time Food is quick enough for her to prepare that though we wouldn't be eating at exactly same time I think it wouldn't be a problem.

Last weeks was best yet...Buffalo Chicken, Pulled Pork and fish tacos with all the trimmings, all done VEGAN! I had the fish and I have to tell you that "fish" was just like the real thing (Only 30 years as a Pesco, Lacto, Ovo, Veg.) and DELICIOUS! She also had B'Chicken and P'Pork Nachos w'all the trimmings, seriously good! I come later than others seem to because these items go so well with a hard cider or beer and I also enjoy Sun. AM news and commentary shows, and each week the food gets better and better, even if no longer "Brunch" fare. Keep up the good work Gabby, see you soon, Karen
