4th Annual NYC Vegetarian Food Festival, DAY TWO

-posted by Jennifer G.-

Mark your calendar... the 4th NYC Vegetarian Food Fest is coming! Brought to you by Sarah Gross & Nira Paliwoda. (Here's an interview with Sarah & Nira you might enjoy.)

If you're planning to go on Sunday, RSVP on this page...not because this is an organized VLI meetup—it's not—but just because it's nice to see who else from VLI is going.

Again: this is not an organized VLI meetup, but you're welcome to use this page to coordinate plans with others.

If you're planning to go on Saturday, here's the DAY ONE page.

Here's more info about the event...

We're talking free samples of vegan ice cream, Orange blossom rosewater syrup with vegan waffles, vegan tuna salad, vegan Mac n cheese, scoops of Peanut Butter ice cream, fusion tacos, organic white and black truffle vegannaise, kale chips, greenola, vegan hot dogs and gyros, and dark chocolate, to name a few of our drool-inducers. And we’ll also feature top-shelf vegan authors, best-of-the-best chefs (Vedge's Kate Jacoby and Rich Landau, anyone!?), kids programming, the nation's favorite vegan comedian (Myq Kaplan!), miles of cruelty-free merchandise to snag, raffles, health-conscious pep talks, Montefiore cardiologist Dr. Robert Ostfeld teaching you about your Healthy Sexy Heart….

Last year, 6000 revelers lined up on the sidewalk, surged through the doors, and happily thronged the Festival. Prepare to join the crowd this year, because it's a can't-miss-event!

Time: 11AM-6PM both days
Advance Tickets: https://2014nycvegfoodfest.chirrpy.com/
Reduced Admission (available at the door only AFTER 4PM EACH DAY): just $5

It would be so amazing if everyone who attends the VegFest can stop by Barclays Center in Brooklyn on their way home. The animals kept in slavery there and forced to perform in the Cruelest Show on Earth need all of us to make a difference. Enjoy the Veggie Fest!

Hey y'all! Who else is taking the LIRR? I'm going to be at the climate conference in the morning, then catch the 11:51 AM train at Stony Brook. Will arrive at Penn at 1:39 PM.
