Meet for lunch at the new Long Island Vegetarian Eatery (95% vegan)

Your host Sal and his partner invites Vegan Long Island members and friends to a special meetup at the new Long Island Vegetarian Eatery. The meetup is to be held at his bar next door, the Leaky Lifeboat. Sal is graciously opening his bar for Vegan Long Island at 12 noon and RSVPs are limited to 25 at the table (no maybe's please). Anyone who decides last minute to come is welcome, the bar will be open as well so we will have great food, music and drinks. Below is the menu, I have had the quesadillas, which were delicious. Thank you Sal, Eric and your wonderful staff for providing us a wonderful venue for a Meetup! You guys are the best, great hospitality. I loved the jalapenos! Thank you everyone who braved the weather to join us, it was great seeing you and meeting some new people as well. I look forward to having more Meetups at LIVE

This was my first, and the people who showed up(weather and roads were not conducive to travel) were very warm and welcoming. I had said I was "dragging" husband there as he had agreed to "try" vegan till his B'day at end of month, see if he "felt" better??? He also had a great time, and the fact that Ruth arranged for a B'day cake pleased him very much(it's nice to be "recognized" even at 63!) I likely talked to much (as usual) but it was a VERY nice snowy afternoon. Thanks to all.......

I am sorry I could not make the lunch. Since I am on the Board of Directors I got delayed overseeing sidewalk and parking lot clearing at our 6 acre 444 unit co-op today.
