FeelGoods Cafe is a very vegan-friendly "all natural, healthy cafe," opened in 2007 by Nicole Lawrence and Kathy Gerdes.
Nicole and Kathy strive to maximize use of organic produce (which I am glad to support, even if it costs me a little more).
In March 2012, at the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show in NYC, their EdgyBurgers won #1 Best New Product of the entire show!!!
Check out these eight—count 'em, eight—vegan burger varieties (all gluten-free):
Portobello Black Bean
Tex-Mex Triple Protein
Butternut Squash Quinoa & Spinach
Ginger-Lime Chickpea & Edamame
Sunflower Sesame & Kidney Bean
Eggplant SDT & Basil
For $9-10, you can build a burger or a wrap, or choose toppings to go over brown rice.

Also note: unfortunately, the Cafe doesn't use durable ware. So please bring your own utensils, to avoid creating plastic garbage.
Guaranteed seats will be limited, as this is FG Cafe's busiest time of the week. I'm reserving a maximum of 8* spots. *UPDATED: FG Cafe gave me the okay to accept another four folks!
RSVP by noon the day before (Friday, Jan 11) so we have an accurate headcount. Be mindful of VLI's RSVP policy—*please* show up if you say you're coming. Thanks!
As with all VLI meetups, please follow VLI's policy that "the food is always vegan, and everyone is treated with kindness." (In other words, we expect everyone to order only vegan fare. Even if you or your guests don't think of yourselves as "vegan.")
