Meeting people who are curious and wonder how to cook Vegan. Keeping my weight down, being educated about how and what to cook/eat and the issues around animal welfare and sustainable agriculture.
Potlucks, picnics, anything outdoorsy like camping and jamming, water related activities, unique indoor/outdoor cooking methods, good coffee, healthy desserts and chat.

Hi, I'm Bonnie Jonas, a vegan, a local Welcome Wagon staff ( I offer local discounts to newcomers). I'm a gardener for hire. I volunteer locally & help people find their authentic vocation in life. I'm Atley's wife, he's the cook & consultant.
Hi, I'm Bonnie, the organizer's wife. You can get to know Atley Jonas personally by googling him. That said, he has a wide array of interests and being vegan, and gently helping people wrap their heads being around the word "Vegan" is his talent. He is a very open minded person and is very willing to hear your ideas, and welcomes you to initiate or organize an event. If you want to meet him/us for coffee just say. He also has a motorcycle and welcomes someone to ride with. This group has had 2 meet-ups as of mid Sept. 2013 and almost everyone has been new each time. People are polite and positive and listen well. Green Cuisine has great soup and dessert!
