Leaflet/Sample Vegan Food- North Carolina Pride Festival

Let's introduce a fun group of people to delicious vegan samples and encourage people to pledge to eat meatless at the North Carolina Pride Festival! Last year was such a success and we'd like to make this one an even bigger one! We will hand out samples of soy BBQ and will provide literature about animal cruelty. We will set up at 9 am and go until the event dies down, which will probably be around 3:30.

It takes some help to make this event a success and we need you! Below is a list of the areas we need help with. When you RSVP please make sure to indicate which areas you are free to help (and times, if applicable) and I'll add your name to the list below. The places with a ?? are areas we still need help.

• Coordinate with Delight Soy company and pick up soy delight BBQ in Morrisville- Eleni

Huge thanks to Carolyn, Sara Beth, Amanda, Rob, James, Brenda, and Anne and Leeanne for such great work yesterday! Together, we brought the plight of animals to 1,000 + festival-goers and then showed them how easy it could be with 1,000 + samples of the Delight Soy BBQ. We also made valuable connections and got several pages of new pledges. Could NOT have done this without all of you working together. THANK YOU!

See you all tomorrow, rain or shine! Hope for shine. We'll have cover! I posted a "volunteer info" file up in the "More" section - very helpful details (thanks to Brenda for putting this together!)

I wish I can help! I'm working 60 hours this week so I'm sure I won't have energy to take baby with me for this event. I really want to be there. I'll be on the lookout for future opportunities!

Hey guys - just got the location, it's the same as last year (#407) - this was one row away from the East Campus street entrance, about the middle of the field (when looking North). Hope that helps - can't wait to see you Carolyn! Also feel free to text me[masked]

I can't attend because I'll be marching in the parade, but I will try to find y'all afterwards. Thanks for doing this!

I'd be happy to help with the "share on social media" need, but I can't make the event.

Thanks Karen! I am going to make you an administrator on our FB page so that you can help out with that. Leeanne posts a lot on FB for our group, so you might want to also touch base with her as well.
