Give away free food to encourage folks to try veg at OutRaleigh!

Join us for our third year of giving away free samples of veg food and encouraging folks pledge to try veg at OutRaleigh!  Last year was very successful - we gave away over 800 free samples of Soy Delight BBQ.  We also signed over 200 people up for Triangle Meatless Monday, where they pledged to try eating veg once a week.

This year we will be partnering with Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge to give out different types of samples - soy yogurt, chocolate almond milk, and vegan sausages.  There should be a good crowd, and it's great to be a part of a positive process where people realize eating veg can be tasty!

We will have a table from 11 a.m. until we run out.  The event is from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.  Sign up to come for whatever amount of time you are interested in - even 15 minutes helps!  Please indicate what time you will come and an approximate length of time in your RSVP.  I will send you my cell phone number and any additional info you need.  Laurent and I look forward to seeing you there!

Thanks to all our volunteers for making this another successful and fun event! We gave out 620 samples of soy sausage, plus ~800 samples of soy yogurt and almond milk! Wow! We gave out 456 Compassionate Choices brochures, and 67 people pledged to try going meatless on Mondays. Great job, all! =)

Hi everyone! I plan on coming at 11:00 if that's when we'll be setting up. Can come earlier/later if necessary. I can definitely stay until at least 2:00 but may stay longer. Looking forward to it!

I am not sure what time I'll volunteer just yet. As it gets closer to the event, will you let us know where the greatest need is?
