Vegan foodies - sounds like a bunch of kindred spirits to me! Look forward to meeting you.
I couldn't possibly narrow it down!
I'm going to go with Shojin, for the food and the lovely people.
I like to "veganize" lots of things and am somewhat known for having done this treatment to the lasagna from Union Square Cafe, but truly, I just love to cook all types of food, sweet, savory, you name it.
I'm been vegetarian for most of my life and vegan for over a decade. My vegetarian husband and I are raising a vegan daughter (10 years old). I find being vegan to make sense on every level, but the most compelling reason is to live life as compassionately as possible. The fact that is also benefits the planet and my family's health are added bonuses.
