-Women's Self Defense and Empowerment Workshop
3-4 p.m. | Clark C251 | CSU
ROAR is hosting a group of fierce vegan kickboxing women in an empowerment workshop (also led by John Pierre vegan trainer, activist, nutritionist, and feminist). Prepare to be inspired and uplifted by these awesome athletes who prove that being a women is a powerful thing (and being vegan doesn't hurt either). PLEASE NOTE: though open to everyone, this workshop is intended for women. Serious issues such as rape and sexual assault will be discussed.

A panel discussion featuring John Pierre (passionate activist and vegan trainer to Hollywood's celebrities!) and Scott Jurek, vegan ultramarathoner. Come hear from some of the top athletes why they choose a vegan lifestyle. It is sure to be an inspiring, educational, and fun night!

-VEGFEST all-day vegan food festival

A free festival in honor of animals and the earth featuring free vegan food samples, info booths (cruelty-free products, vegan nutrition, Fort Collins Cat Rescue, Student Sustainability Center, etc), and a entertainment! John Pierre: activist, nutrition consultant, and fitness trainer will be sharing some wisdom with us during the day. It will be a beautiful day so stop by and share in the fun.
