Go to Really Really Free Market (GO WHEN YOU CAN, but vegan workshop @ 1 p.m.)

Cross-posting this event - it is organized by several vegans, including Chrystal (who does the fur store demos each Saturday), Deric, Hana...

Everything is free, all ages, vegan potluck, haircuts, and workshop on raw food preparation.

"We're back!

Free haircuts by Shanti!

Stick around for a workshop by Jenna from Local Organic Lunch, who will be teaching, 'Uncooking: Raw, Vegan Food Prep' at 1PM.

What’s the Really Really Free Market all about, you ask?
Proactively countering capitalism, building a community based on sharing resources, caring for one another and improving the collective lives of all!

+ Come with anything you want to share with your community (skills, household goods, clothes, zines, poetry, hugs, food...)!
+ Come to take something you may need/treasure for free from your community!
+ Come to make friends with neat folks, share ideas and know-how!

* While this is a free event with free stuff, consider bringing a few bucks to donate to our friends at the 27 Social Center. Without their help, this, along with other very important projects in our community, wouldn’t be happening."

the vegan workshop started at 12 instead of 1pm so I missed most of it, however, the food was very good (RAW VEGAN)

Do people bring their own table(s) to setup or leave items on common tables?

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
