CHOMP: Vietnamese at Congress Park

Hi friends!

Summer is almost over, but we're not ready to leave the great Colorado outdoors yet, so join us for our last Chomp in the park of the season at Congress Park! We'll be featuring a Vietnamese inspired menu that is seriously incredible, and we can't wait to share it with you! Bring your friends, blankets, picnic chairs, frisbees, furry friends, and let's have a great time!

We'll be at the picnic area at CONGRESS PARK, just north of 8th Avenue and Elizabeth. This is at a covered shelter right next to the playground; you can't miss it! If you need directions, see the map on the flyer on Facebook or on google maps here:

Please RSVP in advance on Facebook ([masked]or via email so we know how many people to cook for. Our amazing volunteers make all the food - you just have to show up (bring your own plate and utensils if you can) and have a good time! We ask for a suggested donation of $8-10 to cover the cost of food and the event. We'll also have cans of beer and soda available for a small $1 suggested donation.

RSVP on Facebook here: to [masked]. Hope to see you there!

Chomp is a monthly community dinner featuring an ever-changing 100% vegan menu made by volunteers and presented by Plants & Animals (,a vegan advocacy group locally in Denver, CO.

The food was very good this time! I'm sorry I didn't get to see all our members. Most of the attendees weren't with our group so I didn't want to interrupt conversations to see who the members were. We need to figure out a way to connect at busy situations with mixed groups. Anyway, I hope you all had fun and enjoyed the food! I'll post the photos I took so please tag yourself, if you are in any. If you took photos, please share them with us on here. Thank you!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
