Thanks Kris! I fought with my phone and computer all day trying to figure out how to upload pics, but never fear - I will win this one sooner or later. :-)

Just put together the menu for tomorrow night's Life After Cheese class. I'm looking forward to sharing some of my favorite recipes and experimenting with some that are completely new!

    - garlic white bean aioli, fresh cucumber and mint from the garden
    - chocolate peppermint sunflower milk
    - yellow squash & tomato stacks with almond and cashew cheeses
    - sauteed amaranth and summer squash alfredo topped with fresh tomato and oregano
    - vanilla cashew cream - with fresh peach slices and cherries from Colorado’s western slope

We still have a few slots free for members. Now's a great time to join. :-)

don't you think it's a bit pricey to learn a few recipes? i'm leaning towards veganism but finding it a challenge. would love to learn more, and know how good it is for the environment….and many other things like health ect, but don't vegans want to share their good news without putting some through a financial wringer?

Hi Tree, thank you for responding and for your kind comment. There are a couple of sites with good recipes and one has cooking demo videos, both are owned by fellow members.

You can't ask questions, like in a cooking class, but they are great resources and you're sure to find recipes you like.

There is also a book (and FaceBook page) called Eat Vegan on $4 a day:

      Take care!

Ann, you did such a good job summing up all the reasons we charge a fee. Thank you for taking the time to do that. :-) I also just wanted to point out that we have a variety of classes and workshops that are free to the community including a farmer's market with free juicing demos and yoga every week. You can see what events are available at any time on our web site http://www.thegarden-.... We will always have a variety of free and paid classes and workshops on our calendar. Our goal is to promote healthy learning and sharing at all levels. If you ever want to stop by for a tour and a chat, please feel free. Thank you!

oh, I would love to come, but I live in Bailey and its a very long drive. I don't like driving at night. If you ever plan sometihng during the day I am very interested. Also, I wrote several books, two of them in particular that have vegan cheese recipes that everyone who tried is raving about. Thought you might be interested.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
