Monthly "Family Dinner" Potluck!

We'll be starting off the new year with a lovely complimentary vegan cheese sampling party!

Our MeetUp group and sponsors are NOT affiliated with the
or a religion.  We simply rent the room.

A Vegan Life Plant-based (vegan) Potluck
Hosted by Vegan Life Colorado

This gathering is a great way to make new
friends & try new plant-based foods!

We welcome everyone, regardless of dietary preference, to share a
PLANT-BASED/VEGAN meal (a meal free of animal products).
Join others in our community for a yummy vegan meal
and fun, interesting conversation.

NOTE: if you RSVP yes and your plans change, please change your RSVP as soon as possible. Thank you!

For the potluck, bring a plant-based dish (no meat, fish fowl, gelatin, dairy, eggs, honey or other animal derived products) to serve at least 8 people. A plant-based dish can be as simple as, cut up fruits or veggies or a bottle of natural apple juice to share. If you are new to the group, please to come as our guest and let us feed you. Those comfortable with plant-based, please feel free to show off, dazzle us with your talent and bring extra if you like. Also bring a serving utensil, your own place setting, your own drink and a recipe card (with some extras to share) listing the ingredients in your dish (Please note on your recipe card if your dish contains hydrogenated oils for the health conscience folks in the group and also if it contains common allergens such as nuts).

Location: We will be meeting on the 2nd floor at the Highlands Methodist, on the corner of 32nd and Osceola, between Sheridan and Federal in Denver.

Directions: From I-25 take Speer Boulevard, North to 32nd, then go West (left) on 32nd to Osceola. You may park in the lot across Osceola on the East side of the church if there's room.
From the West, take Sheridan to 32nd and go East to Osceola. The Church and lot will be on your right.
From Golden, 32nd also runs East from 13th and Ford in Golden all the way to Osceola, for those of you coming from Golden or the west side of town. It changes from 13th to 32nd somewhere behind the Coors plant.

We will be collecting a small donation (what you can afford) for the rent. They usually charge a $100 fee per use but they are being so kind to only charge us $50. Any extra we collect will go to Vegan Life Colorado to help us with operational expenses so we can continue with our mission (

Bring your friends!  See you there!

Thank you to everyone for attending, to those who helped with setup and dishes, and to all for all the great food! The cheese was delicious and fun! Thank you to Kris for donating most of the cheese, thank you to Treeline for donating their product, and thank you to LaNell and Dirk for preparing the cheese platters for us! ❤️

Should we bring a vegan dish like last time or is this meetup going to be strictly cheese?

Hi! Is anyone definitely coming to the potluck willing to pick Dirk up at 18th and Sherman and give him a ride? He is in town for a few months for work and has no car. It's too cold for him to bike it over, or he would. Let me know! Feel free to personal message me, or email if you have my address. Thanks!

I am picking up someone near Speer & I25 @ 5p. I can pick up dirk @ 4:30p if no one else offers. Text me by Sat, 1/3, if he still needs a ride. I have sent a message via meetup to Ann with my cell # for texting. Will not be checking this site again after I post this.

Am bringing my Self-Care Advocacy Partners business partner, Steve Anderson, so that he can meet Ann and Peter. He is not vegan, and this potluck is a good way to introduce him to a lifestyle that I have embraced.
