Halloween Bash!! (costumes not required)

For you old timers who remember our annual Halloween Bash, well.... WE'RE BAAAACK!! For you new folks, we hope you will join us for the fun!!

Doors will open at 5:30 PM and food "goblin" will start at about 6!

Costumes are fun and welcome, but are NOT REQUIRED. Please keep in mind that this is a family friendly event, so keep the kiddos in mind when dressing up (not too scary or sexy)! Thank you!!

Please bring a plant-based (VEGAN) dish to serve at least 8 for each adult in your party, plus a card listing the ingredients in your dish (NOTE: We will provide chili and chocolate cake for all). Also bring your own plates, bowls, cups and stainless, to help cut down on waste. Hot tea and water will be provided, so bring your own drinks if you prefer something else.

There is a stove with an oven, and a sink available at the facility.

Parents, we will have a few treats for the kids, so bring their trick-or-treat buckets.

Don't forget your dancing shoes, because dancing will start after dinner! Dancing not required, either.

There will be a donation jar available so please pitch in what you can to help with the rent. Thank you!

NO SHOWS will be haunted so beware, don't be a NO SHOW!

WE CAN HARDLY WAIT TO PARTY WITH YOU ALL!!!!

This was our first one, and it was terrific. So wonderfully decorated (thanks Peter and others), and I got to meet some of you. My children Ava and Ryan had lots of fun. It is so wonderful to have this event and I hope we can continue it every year! Fun, delicious, and compassionate holiday fun for the family. Can't wait for next year!

To any parents, if your kids are like mine and are going to want to be partying the whole time, I will be bringing pizzas for the kids to eat! Quick and easy.

Hi! It will be our first time! Can I ask what kinds of treats for the kids? (Is it something vegan/healthy you are giving out, or just the conventional kind of stuff). Just wanting to know ahead of time what to expect. :)

Hi Kathy, I'm so glad you can make it! So far I have glow sticks, pencils and Halloween things for kids to make, but I will likely also get some vegan candies from whole foods. They will not be artificially colored or flavored. I didn't feed that stuff to my own kids, nor do I eat it myself. Did you have any preferences or ideas? Feel free to send a personal email to me, if you like. Thanks!

How cool! Anything without GMO's or other nasty things (HFCS, colors/flavors) is definitely a preference. Organic would be best, but I know money is a factor and you will all do what you can. It is so cool to be coming to a place that has parents who are concerned about healthier options!
