CHOMP: Thanksliving Feast

Woo! It's the third, animal-free Thanksliving CHOMP! Join us at Green Spaces for new and old friends, food, and drink. $10 appreciated to cover the cost of groceries. It's not a potluck - just bring yourself (and a buddy?) and we'll feed you as full as a rescued turkey. It's a opportunity to meet other local vegans who might not be in this Meetup group so don't be shy. Plus, everyone gets a free raffle ticket for cool vegan prizes.

If you are on Facebook, feel free to share this with your friends!

(Side note: the latest edition of VegNews has THREE full Thanksgiving feast ideas. Looks pretty delicious!)

CHOMP UPDATE - here's the menu:

Savory seitan roast stuffed with lentil loaf (will also have a gluten-free option)
Relish: spiced kale slaw with cranberries and orange
Crispy chive mash potato cake (sweet potatoes, yukons and reds) topped with crispy shallot rings and served alongside a savory veggie medley in a mushroom gravy

Dessert: pumpkin bread pudding parfait with a possible pecan caramel sauce and whip cream

I am excited about coming, I've met a few from the group and they are open and warm to new people. It was fun at the last event!

How long will y'all be there? I'd like to come, but I have a workshop that night.

Hi David - here's the word from the head chef:
"The dessert and the slaw would be it, really. I could whip up a little lentil loaf if there was a demand for alum free food."

Let me know if you are definitely going to come and I will pass on the word so that you will have enough to eat. :)

I would attend if there is enough non-gluten/alum/fungal food
