While picking up takeout at Chang Thai on Tuesday night...
Not eating flesh was the easy part, but I didn't realize how easy it would be to give up eggs and dairy. I worried about protein, but that hasn't been an issue. It is clear that the lives of captive exploited animals are just as important as the slaughtered ones, and I can no longer support the mindlessness of animal exploitation.
Restaurant buffets, dinners and potlucks sound great...
61 yr old former dedicated flesh eater. I was macrobiotic as a teen-ager and young adult and have come full circle. We have been vegetarian for almost 2 years, and I have been Vegan since Thanksgiving and now I wonder why I didn't do it sooner.
