The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a very different place. I volunteer their and they do not breed, sell or profit off their animals what so ever. It will be worth your time to visit www.wildanimalsanctuary.org....it is a wonderful place.

The Serenity Springs facility is near Colorado Springs...

First, thank you very much for thus information. as a family, we do not support zoos but habe enjoyed a small wildlife sanctuary near our home in Illinois. I have often wondered if these "sanctuaries" are actually better than zoos. my daughter picked up a brochure for "The Wild Animal Sanctuary" and wanted to visit it. Since we just moved here I am a bit confused. Is the sanctuary that is the subject of this email different than the The Wild Animal Sanctuary or is it the same? Just want to be sure that we don't support the one mentioned here.
Thank you,
Jemma
