I led this hike couple times (Nov.29th 2008, Feb.15th 2009) and it was Blast.
This is not a hard hike but still easy fun scrambling hike.
Actually, this is one of the easiest hike I lead. Even though this hike is NOT suit for the very beginner hikers or some hikers with fear of height.
About 50% of this route is OFF trail with some minor exposure.
If you are expecting easy trail hike, this is not such kind of hike.
Round trip is about 3 miles and take 3 - 4 hours with slow/moderate speed. About 1,000 ft total elevation gain.
Bring lots of water, food/snacks, sunglass, sunscreen, cap/hat and rain gear(poncho) even its sunny.
Gloves are good choice since we use hands at several points. No need to bring trekking poles.
No kids, No dogs, No desert tortoise please!
Let's meet at Albertsons Parking Lot at 9:00AM. We carpool at there and drive up to Sandstone Quarry Parking Lot. This is our trail Head.
Plan to carpool and riders should chip in $1-$2 for gas.
There are plenty of time to take a nap before attending Jim-Bash or Moon light hike on the evening.

Great hike today! We even used the time productively and came up with a new world order that, while possibly offensive to some, provided much amusement for me and Rick (and I think a few others).
