Sushi Dinner Party - BYOB (Fund Rasing party for our group)

This location is shown only to members

Yes, its 'SUSHI PARTY'. And I understand this is the Hiking & outdoors meetup.
I'm doing this for Fund Rasing for our hiking group. All the money (after I take the cost of ingredients) goes to our meetup group. And it will helps some of our assistant organizer for taking Wilderness First Aid Trainning class. The class costs about $100 per person and this funds goes part of the class fee.
So, even if you get hurt while hiking, your organizer can help you.

Join the party, Eat sushi and it may save your LIFE!! What a win-win condition !!

I'm working at Restaurant for more than 15 years and have Sushi cooking experience. Yes, I'm sushi chef.
I have done several sushi cooking class for some of my meetup hiker friends. And some of them are good enough to provide a great sushi. Now, its time to serve you and have a big party !! (They are all volunteer and won't make any money on this party.)
Jasmine allowed us to use her house for this party. Thats the same place we had New Years Eve Party.

Since this is 'Fund Rasing' party, I charge $20.00 per person. Its cheaper than any 'all you can eat sushi' restaurant in town. (they usually charge $26.00 plus Tax & Tip)

Not only Sushi, We will provide Sashimi, Salad, several kind of appetizers, Soup and desert !!
Also, there is 'fish cutting exhibition' show. I will bring few whole fish and clean it and make a Sashimi/Sushi in front of you !!

This is 'All you can Eat Buffet' style party. Since most of the food are prepared before party starts, you CAN'T order what you want to eat. ( But, if I have time, I will take an order and make it for you.)
We will make lots of food that supposed to cover 100 people, but if you show up late, you may get only leftovers.

And please DO NOT take out while party is still on. If I see it, I won't invite you on next party or on my hike.
But, I don't mind if you take out AFTER the end of party.

Please bring your drink. We won't provide any drinks.

Also, Please bring Cash. I don't take check or Credit card.
We will check the attendance and charge at the door and 'No Shows' won't be invited on future event.

There are not too late for preorder your sushi. We have to cook 200 rolls anyway. I try to separate spicy rolls and Not spicy roll in seperate plate.
Also, I know some people doesn't eat row fish. So, I will make some NON row fish rolls too. I also serve Beef and chicken for those who doesn't eat sushi. But not too many. Its only the side dishies.

Shin and the other chefs worked their butts off! Thank you so much for your efforts! It looks like we raised somewhere around $400, which will cover 50% of the cost of up to eight Organizers. That's fantastic!

This was a great time! It was great to see hiking buddies in their "good clothes" and to have a chance to socialize. The food was FABULOUS and plentiful. Shin and his many helpers did an incredible job. Next time, they should charge more - it would still be worth it - and would riase more for the group.
