This is going to be cool. Bob is doing the normal route to Juniper Peak, a great hike. We will do the route through Pine Creek and ascend Shark Boulder, a wild looking boulder just west of Juniper Peak. Hopefully Bob's group will be at Juniper when we are on Shark Boulder and they can take a photo of us. From Juniper Peak Shark Boulder has a 400 foot shear face (See the photo). We will then scramble up to Juniper Peak and descend the normal route.
No beginners, kids, or dogs. There's a tricky, class 4 downclimb to get onto Shark Boulder.

He'll probably show up in his flip flops and carrying an Evian water bottle again.
Nobody is gonna back out of this meetup are they? Crappy. Seems I'm always twelve hours late for a Branch hike.
Damn - can't make this due to work commitments. Was really looking forward to hiking with you Branch and this sounded like a great hike! Everyone else have fun.
Press Release - Our Illustrious Fearless Leader (whos dat?) got his HLV & Alias moniker mentioned in the current issue of Backpacker Magazine, 100 Greatest Hikes, Nevada section. Good plug.
OK, seems like (non) Action Boy gets a pass. Gotta note from Mom?
