~La Madre Springs~ Siobhan's Maiden Voyage Hike!!!!! :)

Hi everyone I would like to invite you to join me on my maiden voyage ?hike? to La Madre Springs at Red Rock! This will be an EASY hike, with a slow pace! So for those of you who have joined the group but haven?t yet made it out to a hike, this one is for you! La Madre Springs is roughly 4 miles round trip with about 900ft of elevation gain. I?m allotting 3-4 hours for the trip depending on the pace and how comfortable people are feeling on the trail! This will be a little bit of a work out, so get prepared to burn some of those holiday calories off! Good news is that it?s all downhill on the way back! Our main objective is to make it to the spring, but I would be more then interested to explore up to the old miners cabin. If enough people are interested we can head up the extra ½ mile up the trail.
We'll meet at 9:00am in the Red Rock parking lot, before you enter the park. We'll be leaving at 9:15 where we'll carpool to the trailhead.

If you haven't been out on the trail with the group before this will be an awesome introductory hike for ya. I would highly recommend this hike for beginners. Any questions just shoot me an email, see you on the trail! :)

I Will Be There. "If I'm Not Too @ busy At Work". I Would Gladly lead Another Group To A Different Trail if this group it's too big. But Normally not everyone that rsvp shows up. Therefore taking other peoples hopes of a good hike away. Just Show Up and we can decide from there.
I Will let you guys know a day before if I will really be there.
