Bridge Mountain is the classic peak in Red Rock Canyon. Soaring almost 7,000 feet into the sky and an impossible looking route, this is a must do hike. I do a more advance route, but it's much more scenic.
You need to be in good shape and be able to handle exposure.
This hike is subject to weather and a small chance I might be out of the country. I will keep everyone posted.
We need 4WD vehilces

I did Rocky Gap with Sparrow about a week ago, road was not passable in spots due to snow. With chains you could get all the way...maybe...theres the area where you go down hill while passing between two boulders where you may slide right into the boulders. Road may be passable now...will try to check w Vegas Valley 4 Wheelers...think they did a run this past weekend there. I'd be willing to go...if there was room for me +1...
So excited to be heading out on this one... no 4 wheel drive for me or Chris Russell.
Hope you stay in the country, Branch!
We only need to drive 2.4 miles up the Rocky Gap Road
Since Kiwi is looking for a horse or something to get to the trailhead, how about we wrangle a wild burro for her and see how she does with it? And Kim, how about you taking a "billy" goat to the trailhead?
I've got a 4X4 tundra that can fit four people (snugly) besides me.
Branch, I know you can't control the temperature, but can you at least do something to calm down the wind? ::Sniff::, I do so dislike hiking on windy days.
I need a ride. I assume we are meeting at the entrance parking lot before the fee booths.
Yes, meeting at the parking lot next to the fee booth.
I noticed Branch lies about hike "it's easy-not" "10 more yards-more like 100" "it's all downhill from now on-in reality you have to hike up to go down".... but overall it was fantastic... NO WHINERS!!!!!
I'm so grateful to entertain people with my ice skating routine, and still managed to keep my feet dry! I'm going remember that moment for a very long time.
I had uploaded all the 255 pictures taken at Bridge Mtn hike on my web site.
