I've been a practicing vegetarianism for several years now and am always interested in discovering new meals to prepare and learning more about vegan foods.
I would say I'm mostly vegetarian. I eat cheese once in a while and I will eat fish once in a great while. Trying different options is interesting and most of the time tastes great!
My primary motivation for choosing a vegetarian diet was originally health reasons. I've learned how factory farming treats animals with no regard and makes the food unhealthy. Through factory farming, raising cattle has a huge negative impact on our environment.
I began eating vegetarian for health reasons about 10 years ago. I discovered some great vegetarian recipes. I am also sympathetic towards animal rights. I can see how being vegetarian or vegan can improve the environment.
The food was delicious and it was nice talking with the members. It is always nice to meet new people at these events. I had a great time!
