VegCF First Monday Vegan Potluck

Please join us the first Monday of every month for a vegan potluck! Everyone is invited! This is a GREAT way to introduce your veg-curious friends to the delights of homemade vegan cuisine. Join us with a covered vegan dish in the community room (library) of the First Unitarian Church of Orlando. There is no cost if you take a dish, but we ask for a $10 donation if you do not take a dish.

Please take a complete ingredient list (and the recipe instructions if you care to share them), and please be sure that your dish is vegan (no animal products or byproducts). If you know what you plan to make, please list it in your RSVP, so we can plan for a good variety of food.

We left a correl ware serving plate that had sliced tomatoes on it. It was white with a brown pattern. If anyone finds it, we ask that you retain it for us. Thanks In Advance - Richard

It was found and cleaned. I think it's in the unclaimed dishes in the kitchen. You should drop by the church office and ask to retrieve it. Or contact the church Administrator here:

Thanks Charlie! I called Amy and left a message. Hopefully we can retrieve it soon. The piece is one we have had for over 30 years.

O.K., there were these round cracker things that were a little spicy, and they were soooo good. I had to leave early to get my friend home, so I did not get the recipe. I think they were, maybe, East Indian. Who brought them? I NEED the recipe, please.

Additionally, what a splendid evening! What a feast! My friend, Karen, is just going Vegetarian, and she had a great time. All the food was absolutely marvelous, the ice cream was dreamy, AND I learned how to eat artichoke leaves....thank you Candace!

Hi, my girlfriend and I would like to come on Monday. I'll bring a southwestern dish, probably a quinoa bake or TVP casserole.

I am currently deciding between yellow cupcakes with white icing or this delicious vegan beer bread I made last week! Cupcakes will be more plentiful, but beer bread could get cut up into pieces! Open to suggestions! :-)
