Farmers, Food Producers, Local Minded Investors, Restauranteurs, and local resilience advocates, THIS IS A MUST ATTEND EVENT!!!
The Harvest Conference is the first gathering of its kind in Central Florida. The aim is to foster synergistic relationships and pioneering food initiatives that will strengthen our local food system for many years to come.
Saturday, Nov 19th at Mead Gardens
as part of the Winter Park Harvest Festival
Bringing together the local food advocates, food enterprise entrepreneurs and thought-leading producers that have been the backbone of the local food movement in Central Florida to date while igniting new enterprises to fill some of the existing gaps in our local food system.
The day will begin with a gap and asset analysis of our local food system and includes opportunities to strengthen your own business and collaborate with other members of our local community. It closes out with a keynote from Woody Tasch, the founder of Slow Money.
One of the goals of the conference is to create a slow food focused micro-lending program to accelerate the growth of our local food economy. To activate this, the last session of the day will host twelve pre-qualified local food enterprises pitching their business or initiative to the attending local food stakeholders, area investors, investment club and like-minded entrepreneurs.
You do NOT want to miss this epic, game-changing conference tailored specifically for Central Florida.
