The 2nd Annual Global Peace Street Fair returns to Central Florida on Sunday, September 20th. This year’s street fair will take place on New Broad Street in Baldwin Park (Village Center) from 10am – 3pm. Admission is free. The street fair is one of many peace–oriented events festivities that include recognizing the International Day Of Peace with a reception/awards ceremony of peace-themed art by local K-12 student artists at the Rotunda at Orlando’s City Hall’s (September 21st) and the 7th Annual Global Peace Film Festival (September 22nd – 27th) at various venues in Winter Park, Orlando and Winter Garden.
The Global Peace Street Fair is a family-friendly event where attendees will learn about and experience various cultures, explore environmentally safe products and/or green initiatives, interact with animals and the positive impact they have on the environment, and intermingle with a variety of rescue organizations, art, music, dance, and so much more,” said Melixa Carbonell, a member of the Global Street Fair’ organizing committee and Marketing and Event planner for BullFish Baldwin Park, the official headquarters of the 7th Annual Global Peace Film Festival.
Highlights of the Global Peace Street Fair include:
* United Nations of Baldwin Park: Many businesses along New Broad Street will showcase their countries’ flag in their windows

Rollins College International Studies Program will present several cultural organizations showcasing their countries art, dance, music, sports and other cultural experiences. The International groups will provide a "Glimpse into Our Living Room" approach, which will create a relaxing and inviting environment for people to enjoy an International cultural experience.
In addition, the International Pet Parade for Peace will parade down the sidewalks of New Broad Street and Common Way starting at 11:00am at the waterfront. Scooby Doo will serve as the Grand Marshall, and PURE tribal dance company will dress with international flair and help lead the parade, which is open to all well-socialized people and pets. Anyone interested in participating in the parade should meet at the end of New Broad Street near the fountain by 10:30am.
