The Velvet Hills Show Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International.  Our members are of all ages and all walks of life.  The musical training of our members ranges from a little to a lot.  Members do not have to know how to read music, we have learning CD's to help you learn your part.  This chorus is for women who love to sing, perform and even compete with other choruses.  We are constantly improving our musical skills with our incredible directing team. Because of our hard work and dedication we have won many regional and International awards. We currently hold 9th place in the world and we are so proud of our achievements! We are a non-profit music education association dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of four part harmony singing for women. The purpose of this organization is to educate members in the art of singing a cappella music, barbershop style. If you are interested in learning more about the Velvet Hills Show Chorus, please join us at one of our rehearsals to see if we could add some fun and joy to your life. We meet every Monday night at 7:00 at 3675 B Jeannine Drive in Colorado Springs.   On your first visit you will be privately voice placed, by one of our directors and place you in one of the four barbershop voice parts.  You will be assigned a "riser buddy" who sings the same part so that you can follow along during rehearsal.   We hope to see you there.  Contact me if you have any questions!
