Playa Del Rey -Fireworks & Boat parade

  • December 14, 2013 · 5:30 PM

Let's get together near the bike bridge that connects to MDR at the end of Pacific Ave in Playa Del Rey to view the xmas boat parade. I have access to the rooftop deck of a condo with perfect views of the marina. I will email the address to those who rsvp within 24 hrs. before the event. Let's plan to meet there by 5:30 pm as fireworks start at 5:55pm.

Parking may be tight so please plan accordingly. Maybe park near Culver Blvd or upper Playa and walk down the hill.

Maybe we can grab a bite to eat nearby afterwards if any interest.

Let's plan to meet on Pacific Ave at corner of 63rd St in Playa Del Rey by around 5:30pm on Saturday. Really looking forward to seeing so many of you again as well as new faces! I'd prefer to keep things simple so depending on how many want to join for dinner afterwards will dictate where we go. Many choices walking distance on Culver Blvd and Pershing. We are such large group maybe Chinese Szechwan Palace as always easy to go there or another local place. We can make a reservation once we meet to get better headcount.

Hi Kay. Looking forward to meeting you. Yes, some are bringing some munchies that is fine. It's on a roof top deck so mainly standing. No need to bring chairs as not up there that long. There is a community restroom which I have a key for if need be. There is a table up there as well. See you soon. I hear you take great pics.=)

No chair is a deal-breaker :( I am recovering from a minor knee injury... I guess I will have to join you guys at another event. Me and my bf will go to one of the restaurants at the marina and watch the parade from there. Hope we can score a window table... Have fun you guys!!!

No worries Jessica. Per our phone conversation no need to bring anything. We will be eating afterwards at a restaurant. No potluck necessary just come enjoy.
