Southern California Linux Expo

21 through 23 February at the LA Airport Hilton

A very large tech show composed Free and Open Source Vendors and Participants. A stimulating experience for the hearts of makers and hackers.

I will be conducting interviews with many of the vendors and atendees. Look me up and tell me of your experience.

Some of the participants are members of makerspaces and hackerspaces themselves.

The tickets or the exhibit floor are only $10.00.

Have fun and make games, or hack your homework using Ruby! Just tell your parents or teachers you are learning Ruby programming... ;)

KidsRuby ( is FREE and OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE and works on any computer that runs Linux, OSX, or Windows. We have set aside 1.5 hours to teach kids how to program in Ruby using KidsRuby. All you need is your own laptop computer and a desire to have fun.

We will also be bringing Sphero robots, so if you ever wanted to learn to program your own robots, don't miss it!
