San Francisco is an amazing photographic destination. With the new Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate that anchors the gateway to the Pacific, this place, along with its Victorian homes, thrives in restored elegance in diverse neighborhoods perched along dramatically steep streets. This most European of American cities has a romantic feel as the fog drifts in and out.

Each day you’ll be assigned a different task as you venture into closely tied, interesting neighborhoods, highlighted by the bustling Chinatown with its exotic ornamentations. The streets of San Francisco have many opportunities to capture craftsman practicing their daily trades.

You’ll venture into the farmers market at the Ferry building and absorb the ethnic neighborhoods of China Town, packed with bustling vendors of all kinds. Street musicians abound all through the city and restored cable cars and trollies run throughout, making this modern city seem like it’s encased in a patina of old. San Francisco is a joy to navigate for the imaginative street and architectural photographer.
