To Kill a Mockingbird at CSUN Northridge, Nordhoff Hall Little Theater

This is one of my favorite books, and one of my favorite movies! Let's go see a stage version of this classic, Pulitzer-prize winning novel. We'll arrange carpooling to Northridge and have dinner or coffee beforehand. Restaurant/cafe location will be determined closer to the date. The performance is in Nordhoff Hall's Little Theater.

This theater will not hold tickets for our group. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster and are about $28 with fees. I've already bought my ticket in the front row, center section. If you definitely want to go, buy your ticket early and get a front row seat! Click the link below and search for the performance name and date:

It was an interesting adaptation. I'm not sure if the older Scout was well-cast. I was expecting someone with a southern drawl to be that character. Still, it was an enjoyable play.

Very well done, I agree with Amy that it was odd at first to see adults playing the kids but I got used to it quickly. The actor who played Atticus did a really good job, considering that a lot of people (like me) probably had Gregory Peck's academy-award winning performance in mind.

Hi Rheena, sorry to have missed you at the theater... we usually meet for dinner before the play but that fell through this time. Hopefully we will meet at a future event! :-)

I thought the play was good...took me awhile to get used to Scout being a bit older, but the actress was great!

If you have bought a ticket, can you leave a comment so I know how many are definitely coming? This'll help me plan where to eat. Also if you want to carpool, mention that in your comment and your location and hopefully we can get some carpools set up. Lisa, Lalena, Amy and I are going in one car. Thanks!
